Small space, but very clean and nice staff.

Clean. Great staff. Loved the luggage storage option. They let me in before the check in time because my room was ready. The location was great, had some good food options within ten minute walks.

Rooms and loos were wayyyyyy too small. Had to open the bathroom door to open the shower door. No place to keep my luggage. Could have definitely done with more space.

This is not mentionned that we need to pay for standard services such as cleaning, changing towels, paper toilet. The hospitality is not sufficient for the level of pricing.

Lovely lovely place! Would highly recommend if you’re wanting to stay in Paddington / Notting Hill area. Loved it!

Excellent quiet location near to the park

Fabulous location for exploring London, you can walk everywhere and sometimes it was better to walk as traffic is really slow. The park is nearby which is a bonus, so beautiful to walk through and escape London / tourist craziness. Rooms are small so if you like space book a larger room. It has everything you need and you can restock your our tea / coffee whenever you want. No breakfast but there are other options nearby, we liked Les Fillies - good food and decent coffee. They don’t clean daily but this keeps the costs down, personally think this is a great option if you are tourist in London.

A pleasant stay overall, but some quirks to be aware of

The room was small but perfectly adequate – clean, quiet, and nicely designed. We appreciated the availability of adapters to borrow and the kettle with tea in the room, as well as a small cabinet with essentials freely accessible at reception. The hotel is in a lovely, clean, and peaceful neighborhood.

However, there were a few organizational issues that didn’t work so well for us. For example, we were told that room cleaning needs to be requested 24 hours in advance, which felt a bit inconvenient. Access to your room is via a code rather than a key or card – which has its pros (no keys to lose) but can be less convenient at times. Also, without using their app, it’s hard to manage your stay. Check-in is self-service via the app, which may be fine for some, but personally I prefer a classic check-in with a receptionist. In our case, I received the app invitation, but my friend did not, and we had to resolve access to her room code at reception. The staff were helpful, but at 3 AM after a long journey, it’s not ideal to be setting up an app just to get into your room. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay – the hotel itself is lovely – but I would prefer a more traditional hotel experience for smoother check-in and housekeeping.

Safe clean handsome hotel in good area

Didn’t have breakfast Staff were very helpful re recommending places to eat and getting about on underground. safe location quite close to Lancaster Gate and Bayswater underground. Quiet safe area, very close to Kensington gardens. Near some convenience stores and friendly pub. Would stay again

Wonderful

Couldn’t have been happy with staff or amenities. Will definitely be back. Having a small cafe in reception was excellent. All staff were extremely helpful.

The cups in the rooms could be bigger. Otherwise everything was great.

Good value. Good location. Clean and helpful staff.

Location was good, it was clean and 24 hour staff were very helpful. Great shower with good products included.

The Sonder App is dodgy, so thankfully the staff were able to help. The room I stayed in was near the railway track so a little noisy but room itself was clean and comfortable.

Loved the Location, Tolerated the Service - A Mixed Stay at The Henry Hotel Bayswater.

The location was fantastic, right next to Bayswater and Queensway stations, with Hyde Park just a short walk away. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with good amenities like a strong shower and reliable Wi-Fi. The self check-in process was smooth once I arrived.

The booking process was stressful and frustrating. I had to make multiple phone calls just to extend my stay and ended up having to book a separate reservation. Also, I wasn’t aware that room cleaning wasn’t included in the standard rate. I had to tidy the room myself and request additional amenities, which I didn’t mind too much, but it’s something I would’ve liked to know upfront. Customer service was mostly remote, with only a few on hand staff that assisted and response times weren’t always quick.

Room size....could be bigger. Bathroom needs a fan as windows steamed up. Noisy room and couldn't open window as some sort of motor kept cutting in every few minutes.

Easy,

The staff on the afternoon I arrived were lovely and very attentive. They allowed me to check-in early and helped me out when I had forgotten my phone charger. The location was excellent and in short distance via underground, bus or walk to everything I had planned that weekend. I'd definitely stay here again.

Milk provided for coffee and tea in the morning and small complimentary snacks would be great.

Good

The personnel was very helpful, especially the lady originally from Romania who was there on the first day and set us up with fridge and other questions. Place is clean and well kept.

Internet connection was unacceptably weak. I complained to the hotel but they were not able to improve on it by the time we left. Every evening I had to wait until after 10:30 pm for the other hotel guests to disconnect so I could get enough bars to maintain a VPN connection.
